Take your rubbish to Kommetjie

2016-12-13 06:01

Residents should use the Kommetjie waste drop-off site this week while repairs are under way to a leaking sewerage pipe at the Simon’s Town site.

The City of Cape Town has temporarily closed the Simon’s Town waste drop-off site to do repairs to a leaking underground sewerage pipe along the road leading to the site.

The repairs involve digging a hole measuring 5m long, 4m wide and 2m deep, which means the entire road will be inaccessible.

As a result, a decision has been made to close the Simon’s Town drop-off site for five days until Saturday.
