Talk on water crisis at AGM

The Greater Cape Town Civic Alliance (GCTCA) will be hosting its annual meeting at the Isaac Jacobs Hall in Grassy Park on Saturday 23 September.

“Water: It’s a crisis! Is there a plan B?” is the title for the discussion with Dr Kevin Winter as guest speaker. Winter is a senior lecturer and researcher in UCT’s department of environmental and geographical science. He is also a lead researcher of UCT’s Future Water Institute and is widely published in the academic literature with work that focuses largely on developing water-sensitive settlements, restoring urban river systems and water monitoring using digital technologies.

The talk starts at 10:00 and ends at 13:00. Interested residents and civil society groups are urged to attend.
