Teen caught with ammo, and drugs

A teenager was arrested on Sunday 11 December after he was caught in possession of six 9mm live rounds of ammunition, two packets of crystal meth and cash to the amount of R481.

Warrant Officer John Bartlett, spokesperson for Steenberg police, says police officers were doing patrols in Wicht Court, Lavender Hill.

“The 18-year-old suspect of Lavender Hill was detained at Steenberg Police Station.

Steenberg police registered a case of possession of ammunition and drugs and the suspect appeared in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court on Monday 12 December
