2016-08-09 06:00

Police have arrested three suspects in connection with a Tafelsig murder case.

On Tuesday 2 August at 21:00 police were called out to a scene where the body of a man had been found in Cairn Close.

The deceased had stab wounds to his back. It is alleged that the victim had been involved in an argument the previous week and stabbed someone, then fled the scene.

The deceased was then spotted by the victim of the first attack, who then called his friends to chase him. The suspects caught up with him and stabbed the victim, who died on the scene.

The motive is gang related.

A knife has been recovered by police.

Three suspects were also arrested in connection with the incident.

The suspects, aged 22 and 24 respectively, have since appeared in court.
