Entrepreneurs who want to see their businesses flourish now have help on hand.

With new offices, the staff of local organisation Sabri have big plans to help business owners and aspiring owners who need an extra push to make their businesses a success.

Sabri CEO Lynn Maggott says the recent move will offer them more space to expand on their ideas.

“We are planning an event for the end of the month to call on all businesses in Mitchell’s Plain and Khayelitsha so that they can come here for us to assist them to develop their businesses so that they have access to corporates,” says Maggott.

With this, they plan to turn their new office space into a shared centre for businesses that will offer them basic office facilities to businesses that need development support.

“Most entrepreneurs know how to come up with the final product, they just need a mentor to help them understand their needs before identifying a funder,” says Bahle Mangali, Sabri project manager.

The organisation also runs various workshops that cover business success holistically.

“We want to target entrepreneurs who have a business idea and registered businesses,” says Maggott.

Their end goal is to see businesses grow and ultimately create jobs for the youth in the community.

The workshop is free and open to all entrepreneurs but space is limited to 70 participants.

The workshop will take place on Thursday 27 July at their offices in the Westridge Shopping Centre.

The event will also be the launch of their new office space.
