2016-11-24 06:02

SAY “no” to domestic violence and child abuse and join the Young Communists League (YCL) Greater Port Shepstone and other structures in a march to fight gender-based violence.

The purpose of the march is to mark the first week on the 16 Days of No Violence Against Women and Children which begins on tomorrow.

Supporters will gather from 10.30am at the Conner Street. The march will end at Chris Hani Square.

“The public is invited to attend this march in order to create awareness on the scourge of violence perpetuated against women and children,” said Logispree Naicker.

The YCL will also visit different areas on the lower South Coast to educate the community about the 16 Days Campaign. For venue dates and times, call 079 101 7069.
