Ash, you will never be forgotten

2015-07-30 06:00

ASH, I cry for you as I write this. I knew you as a sweet and gentle old boy on the farm of Bushy Vales where you were obviously lovingly taken care of.

Your life of 40-plus came to an abrupt end by the hands of a callous man. A more cruel act, I have never known. The lives of our soldiers were entrusted to you Ash to carry them through the ravages of the Angolan War, bringing them to safety to ensure these men returned home to their families and lived ones. Ash we love, honour and salute you as you run with the herds. You will never be forgotten.

Let justice be served.
