Chiefs, Bucs announce Cup coaches

2015-07-30 06:00

ORLANDO Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs have unveiled who will coach their sides in the upcoming Carling Black Label Cup fixture at FNB Stadium.

Both Sowetan giants made the announcement via their Twitter accounts ahead of the much-anticipated derby.

The match is one of three guaranteed Soweto clashes to take place this coming season.

The Buccaneers revealed that Tumo Katane will take over the helm from Eric Tinkler for the afternoon.

Sidney Molepo takes charge at Amakhosi as Steve Komphela has to wait until late October to take charge in a Soweto derby.

“Congratulations to Tumo Katane, the Champion Coach in charge of the Bucs on Saturday 1 August for the #BlackLabelCup,” said the Tweet on Pirates official account.

“Sidney Molepo is the 2015 Champion Coach and will be leading the Glamour Boys on Saturday in the Carling Black Label Cup #Amakhosi4Life,” said Chiefs account.

Kickoff is at 3.30 pm.
