Gamalakhe Zonal League second leg continues

2015-05-14 06:00

THE first leg of the Gamalakhe Zonal League has been completed. The 18 teams participating in this league started the first leg games in October playing 17 games each.

“Each team plays 17 games in first leg then another 17 on the second leg, so we finished the first leg two weeks ago. Then we started with second leg, but last weekend we had to play those teams who had some games in hand so there is a balance. This week we will be playing the second week of second leg,” said Sibongiseni Ngcobo, All Stars coach speaking on behalf of the Gamalakhe Football Association.

Top of the table is Wireless with 48 points followed by Bucs FC, Black swallows and All Stars with 42 points. On Saturday the second leg continues at the Gamalakhe T.B. Molefe Sports Ground.

Results for last weekend’s games: Makoya 2-1 Classic, Sdeni United 3-0 Home Boys, Junior Spurs 3-1 Mighty Spurs, Bucs 1-1 Kaizer x1, Western Gunner 3-0 Arsenal, Millan 2-0 Korea and Wireless 2-2 Black Swallows
