‘Hope’ invitation to fun run-walk

2015-05-14 06:00

THE Hope Community Project invites the community to the Hope Park fun run-walk on 6 June.

Teddy Moodley from the Hope project said the fun run will be to raise funds towards taking care of Hope Park.

“Hope Park is a park the community took over from Hibiscus Coast Municipality, formally an unused and unkempt golf course driving range along Dairy Road in Marburg,” said Moodley.

Moodley said the Hope Park team, consisting of volunteers from all sectors, have been cleaning up the park and the rivers running through the park for family use.

Entry to the run costs R20 for adults and R10 for pupils.

The fun run-walk will be a 10km or five kilometre.

“Businesses are welcome to sponsor, all that is required is to for them to fill in a sponsorship form.”

Get sponsorship forms from Moodley on 083 885 2727 Pastor Reggie John on 082 820 7399.
