Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Zandra Wiid said the men allegedly stabbed the victim in his thigh and arm and ran off with his wallet and cellphone.

Wiid said a witness gave a description of the suspects and police responded.

“Within minutes, Warrant Officer “PC” Naicker, Constable Roxy Mrawushe from the Port Shepstone Crime Prevention Unit and Warrant Officer Sydney Seaton from the Tactical Response Team arrested the three suspects, who were hiding in the bush,” said Wiid
