THE Paddock Community Run for Charity took place on last Saturday and the turn-out was spectacular. Children and adults had a good time running, playing and socialising. The children ran the two-kilometre race and the winner finished within 20 minutes. The five and 10-kilometre trails runs were difficult, but everyone finished. The race between the farmers and the Rehoboth athletes was won by the Rehoboth after beating the experienced farmers, who say they will train harder next year in order to win. The aim of the day was to raise funds for Crusade for Christ, a mission organisation on the South Coast. The community worked hard together which resulted in R41 461 being raised. The organisers thank everyone who was involved for making the day a huge success. - Supplied.
