Plot thickens in TLB case

2015-08-27 06:01

THE municipal worker, who was arrested for corruption last week, now faces a charge of murder.

The case was postponed for further investigation.

The Organised Crime Unit arrested the man last week after he attempted to sell a TLB to an undercover cop.

At the time it was believed that the TLB belonged to Umzumbe Municipality. However, it has been discovered that it belongs to a private person.

The man was then charged for murder after a body, with a gunshot wound to the head, was discovered in Hibberdene on Wednesday.

The corpse is believed to be that of the TLB driver.

Investigations are continuing
