Warriors’ hopes dented

2015-06-25 06:00

THE South Coast Warriors’ chances of remaining champions of the First Division South Section suffered a huge knock when suffered a 46-17 loss away to Jaguars on Saturday.

Warriors coach Christo Henderson believes all is not lost as his team’s fate will be ultimately decided by the results of matches played by other teams.

“We now need two clubs to do us a favour and that is not a position that we wanted to be at all. Our goal was always to keep our fate in our own hands but unfortunately we were not good enough on the day to pull of the win that we needed,” said Henderson.

The loss comes after the Warriors led the Jaguars 10-0 at half time.

Backline man of the match was Jaques Petzer-Moore, while overall was Juan van den Berg.

The Warriors next play Westville Old Boys at Douglas Mitchel on Saturday.

The second team plays at 1.30pm and the first team at 3pm.

How much food do you need to concentrate?

We have been taught that we need three meals a day in order to make it through the day and while most of us indulge in more than our fair share there is a large portion of South Africans who are living off barely enough to sustain them.
