THE first Famfest Entertainment Annual Family Home Coming Picnic will be held at St. Micheal’s Beach on 16 December from 10am. Organiser Thabani Mzindle said the event is suitable for the whole family.

Mzindle said the aim of the picnic is to unite families and local artists while at the same time giving the artists a platform to showcase their talent. He said food stalls and exhibition tables are welcome and a secure children's play area will be provided.

“The play area will charge R20 for each child and a it will give them access to a jumping castle, a party pack and some games,” said Mzindle.

The line-up of artists and deejays includes Thandi Draai, DJ 101, Qhawe, Quonic, Zux and many others.

“We will also have live performances from Happy, Vero, White Bread, Lelo Green, Afrika, Massive Tizzy and many more. We will also have a surprise guest artist who will be appearing on stage during the course of the programme,” said Mzindle.

Entrance to the adult picnic area is R50 per person. For more information on having a food stall or an exhibition table, contact Mzindle on 073 159 3090.
