IT is that time of the year again where beauties will compete for the Miss Africa Model crown.

The event takes place at the Uvongo Town Hall on Saturday, 29 October.

The pageant has a lot more to offer this year with a beauty fair showcasing Mac, Avon and Urban Decay cosmetics.

The highlight is South African award-wining designer, Gideon, who will also be there and has a fantastic prize to give the winner.

“He has generously sponsored a R8 500 designer dress as the main prize,” said pageant organiser,
Stacey Upfold of Ultimate Events.

Siyathokoza Zulu, one of the princesses in the 2013 Miss Africa Model, will show off her new clothing collection label, Furaha.

“Entry is free for entrants up
until 10 October, provided they sell four tickets,” said Upfold.

Spectators can buy tickets at R100 each from Upfold on 074 188 3272 or email staceyup fold@yahoo.com
