Coast movie director seeks assistance

2016-09-01 06:00

FILM writer and director Msizi Dlala is asking for assistance for his upcoming film, which he wrote and will be directing.

“This is not my first film, this is part two of the film Impilo, I’m Not a Human Being.

“Part one was shot last year and all the equipment used was hired, however, I have also tried purchasing cameras and other equipment - all I need is special lights and boom microphones.”

The film is about a young man called Allen, who loves his girlfriend Beauty so much he would kill for her.

“Allen ends up doing nasty things, which include witchcraft to get money to make his pregnant girlfriend happy. He finds out however, that she’s pregnant with another man’s child. Allen then threatens to kill innocent people as he searches for the guy who impregnated her,” he said.

The film will be shot on the South Coast and the cast will be South Africans.

“The film needs special lights because some of the scenes have lightning and blasts, which is why we need the special equipment,” he said.

Anyone who is able to assist, can contact Dlala on 073 025 9858.
