THE inaugural Colour Adventure 2017 is to take place on April 8 at the Rocky Bay Resorts Trails near Park Rynie with a variety of events open to walkers, runners and mountain bike riders.

The event is run by the Dutch Reformed Church and proceeds from the day will go towards local charities.

The four-kilometre family fun walk where everyone can participate from a toddler on a push bike to the elderly starts at 8.30am with a R50 entry fee for adults and R20 for children.

The six kilometre run/walk starts at 8.15am and entry is R50 per person.

The 19km mountain bike trail is open to both beginners and experienced riders to beginners and it starts at 8am. Entry is R100 per rider.

All routes will be well marked and presented by marshals. Participants will be showered with powdered paint at three different places along the route to ensure that everyone returns looking colourful at the finish line.

Pre-registration is open at the NG Kerk in Scottburgh, Scottburgh Wimpy and the Woodpark Nursery. For more information, call 083 452 4486. – Supplied.
