THE Shelly Beach Lions handed over toys to children at Dumisani’s Crèche in Gamalakhe recently.

Pastor Dumisani Mzameko, who runs the crèche, was very grateful to the Lions for the donation.

Extra toys were also donated to Mzameko for another children’s camp in Mozambique.

“I must also thank the Lions for the faithful delivering of food every month without fail. This feeding scheme feeds 85 children on a daily basis and has been running for six years,” he said.

Lions Shelly Beach president Paul Brauteseth, said the donation of toys came from the Ramsgate Lions Club via their president, Jenny Henry.

“We thank them and the public for their generous support which enables us to serve our community,” said Brauteseth.
