PUPILS and teachers at Port Shepstone Secondary got pro-active last week and hosted a fun day and run to raise funds for the new classrooms that are to be built.

The classrooms will replace the aged dry-wall classes that has been at the school for many years.

The school’s interact club thought up the idea of hosting a flea market and fun run and pupils jumped at the opportunity to make it a success, with the help of teachers, the school governing body, sponsors, parents and the community.

It was also a chance for pupils to show their talent in hairstyling, baking, deejaying and shisa nyama with the school’s finest braai masters.

The school thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the fund-raiser.
