‘Good pastor’ on a witch-hunt

2015-12-17 06:00

SO the good pastor, reverend, prophet Effanga is going to patrol the nudist beach during the peak season to ensure by-laws against nudity are enforced - and spoil a holiday for many who booked accommodation months ago, thinking the beach would be fully legal by now.

What is wrong with this supposed man of the cloth? He is now also conducting a witch-hunt to find the Ugu council official who authorised relaxing by-laws prohibiting beach nudity. Has he not read in his
Bible about “turning the other cheek?” Is his anger so great because last time he arrived on the beach with SAPS to arrest nudists, they turned the other cheek on him (actually both cheeks). Why is it only the so-called “charismatic” church leaders who are so fixated on a desolate section of beach?

Churches should let a higher power deal with whatever is regarded as sinning and views differ. These “charismatic” leaders can surely find more important matters to fixate on.

Please Ugu councillors, expedite changes to by-laws as soon as possible.

Unconcerned citizen

I recommend that the
honourable reverend does not embark on a cultural tour of the museums of Europe –as it is apparent he is obsessed by sexual aspect
