OLWANDE High School in Gamalakhe did well at the Eskom Science Expo at Umzinto last Thursday.

The school brought seven pupils to showcase their science projects and six were recognised as good projects by Eskom, with three walking away with bronze medals.

Olwandle High science and technology teacher Nonto Mbhele said the performance of pupils was “outstanding” for a first-time entry.

“We are thankful for the achievement as this was our first attempt,” said Mbhele.
