THE inaugural South Coast Open Tennis Tournament will be take place at the Umtentweni, Uvongo and Douglas Mitchell tennis courts on 19 to 21 March.

“KZN Tennis Association has kindly helped us get this tournament on the calendar. The tournament is a developmental programme for the participants especially those U10, U12, U14 and U16,” said tournament director, Natalie Grandin.

“It is a Tennis South Africa-ranked tournament which means that the children and adults who play get points towards a national ranking.”

Grandin thanks South Coast Tourism for sponsoring and helping them with the running of the tournament.

“The South Coast Open Tennis Association has also been very helpful with organising the event,” she said.

Entrance to matches is free.
