THE Port Shepstone Lions ran another free diabetes testing clinic at Harbourview Superspar in Umtentweni last Saturday.

A total of 56 people were tested, 21 of whom were above their sugar level range.

Port Shepstone Lions Club President, Denis Meyer, extended the club’s appreciation to the management of Harbourview Superspar for providing the venue, as well as to and Lion Lady Sister Debbie
Marshall for her assistance and supervision of all the tests.

“The club will continue to run regular diabetes testing clinics and aim to help raise awareness for
diabetes which is a silent killer around the world,” said Meyer.
