DESPITE the chilly weather over the weekend, the 32nd annual Lions Show was well attended and provided great entertainment.

Port Shepstone Lions Club president Denis Meyer said 8 500 people attended the event, which started on Thursday evening and ran until Sunday.

A total of 124 indoor and outdoor exhibits were on display, and The Rust Bucket Classic Cars won the prize for best overall stand as well as best outdoor stand.

Entertainment was provided by stand-up comedian Tony King, the Phlex dance group, Sax Café, Reflex, Four 5 Seconds, Promise Dlamini, DJ Rudi Williamson, The Kickstands, Circle of Stones, Le Riche Brothers, Margate Pipe Band, Gaby Frey dog agility show, Masakhane Zulu Dancers and others.
