A 23-YEAR-OLD man drowned at the Mpenjati river mouth, near Glenmore on Monday afternoon.

Paramedics from the KZN Department of Health’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to the drowning.

“When the paramedics arrived on scene they found the victim had already been recovered from the water by bystanders,” said KZN EMS spokesperson Rob McKenzie.
