THE letter by Alana Valentine in the Fever refers (Not much to watch on DStv - 22 September). Thank you for taking the time to raise your concerns. We’d like to reassure you that there is a lot of new and fresh content on DStv every week - and we want to help you find what you would like to watch.

We know that most of our customers tend to stick to a few favourite channels – surfing between those channels only when looking for something to watch.

There is a lot of great content available across the channels on DStv – we encourage you to try one or two new channels.

To help you here, we’re highlighting some of the great British and Australian shows available in the next few weeks:

Victoria – A brilliant drama series following the early life of Queen Victoria, from her accession to the throne at the age of 18 through to her courtship and marriage to Prince Albert. Victoria airs on ITV Choice (DStv channel 123) on Wednesdays at 8pm.

The Kettering Incident – A new Australian/U drama about Anna Macy who left Kettering when she was 14, shortly after her best friend disappeared when they were playing in the forest. When Anna returns 15 years later the town is struggling to survive. Theories and rumours persist about what really happened to the girls that night – from Anna killing her best friend to alien abduction. The Kettering Incident airs on BBC First on Wednesdays at 8pm.

• On your smartphone, you can download the DStv Now App where you can access a TV guide, search by name or theme, and even set reminders.

Why not expand your DStv repertoire a bit, who knows - you might even find a few new favourites.
