FOR years Father Christmas has visited the South Coast. From 2011 until last year he has opted to arrive by helicopter and a Coca-Cola truck. This year his transport of choice will be a fire engine.

Many children in impoverished and disadvantaged communities are unable to experience the joy and excitement of Christmas, which is why One Way and local businesses and organisations began to collect donations throughout the year and hand them out to those in need at this time.
Their mission is to bring love and put smiles on many faces this festive season in the most memorable way.

Expect to catch a glimpse of Father Christmas and receive a gift from his group of volunteers at the Mpenjati sports grounds in KwaNzimakwe on Monday 21 December from 2pm, TB Molefe stadium in Gamalakhe on Tuesday 22 December from 6pm, the Community Youth Centre in Merlewood on Wednesday 23 December from 3pm and at Sunwich Port beach on Thursday 24 December from 6pm.

Thank you must be extended to everyone who contributed to this community project including Margate and Port Edward Build it, Coca-Cola Fortune, Wimpy, Margate, Tiago's, South Coast Fever, One Way Youth Outreach, HCM Youth Office and HCM Fire Rescue and Disaster.

If you’d like to support this worthy venture, with any new or second-hand toys, clothes and non-perishable food items, please contact Mark on 084 550 4138.
