Our water could be making us sick

2016-04-21 06:00

I HAVE been coming to the South Coast for 11 years and if we drink the tap water we get tummy ache.

We keep charcoal tablets just in case.

I now live in Uvongo and have been on antibiotics ever since. I have a high fever and an ear infection like most people in our complex, even those who don’t swim. Children are sick with bleeding ears.

My blood pressure also goes up suddenly, among other problems I have. A lady I know of died of a stroke on Sunday.

I also had to fight a stroke because of high fever, while my mother-in-law also has the same symptoms. She has been continuously ill since she moved here three years ago.

Even epilepsy can occur with high fever. I woke up again the other morning with fever and had to fight it with vitamin c. Can this be part of bacteria in the water? I’m afraid my holiday friends will get ear infections as well.
