LAST Wednesday evening Port Shepstone SAPS management held a function at Stages Restaurant to thank community policing forums of Port Shepstone for their loyalty and assistance during the past year.

The event was also attended by some Port Shepstone business owners.

Brigadier Sandra Nala, Port Shepstone station commander handed over certificates of appreciation to the chairpersons.

Colonel William Slabbert, Vispol head of Port Shepstone SAPS, briefed everyone about the plans for the upcoming season.

Captain Shireen Michael, sector commander of Port Shepstone, arranged the function and thanked everyone, who contributed in the fight against crime in her sector.
