THE Eyethu Premier League has drawn to a close and Bafana FC have come out victorious by finishing at the top of the log.

The Hibiscus Coast Football Association and Multi Furniture and Appliances will now be crowning the league’s Player of the Year at a ceremony on August 10.

The association will select the winner from six nominees.

Hoosen Ebrahim of Multi Furniture and Appliances said he is proud to be associated with the Hibiscus Coast Football Association.

“We want to encourage local talent and development of sport,” said Ebrahim.

He added he hopes to have a lasting relationship with the association.

Hibiscus Coast Football Association chairman, Ayub Moosa said he is thrilled to have Multi Furniture and Appliances sponsor prizes that include a microwave, a glass coffee table, a toaster and other prizes for all six nominees.

Player of the Year nominees:

Sphamandla “AK 47” Cele - Italian FC

Kabana “Shoes” Mbeko - Reserve FC

Thobile “Wizard” Ceberise - Never Mind FC

Phumlani “Zero” Nhlumayo - South Coast VW United

Nzuzo “Nsimbi” Madlala - FC Barsil

Nzuzo “Gent” Botile - Madiba Stars.
