DOPE Gang is a group of males from Mehlomnyama who run a production company that produces music, records films, including animation and more.

The group was founded by MsiziM, who has been in the industry since 2008, and have a number of artists under it.

Group CEO, Msizi Dladla started music at the age of 17 while in school. He grew up as a “boy from the hood” and many people looked up to him because of his talent.

“I felt that people respected me because my music was unique and recommended by many in KwaZulu-Natal and abroad,” said Dladla.

The group’s inspiration is the feedback they get.

Their hit song Kumnandi and their music video features Young Silver, Sizwe, Top Secret and Thembe.

Dladla said the biggest highlight for them was working with well-known comedian, Pastor Mjosty, Pastor Zondo of Ukhozi FM and Popaye and Spinach, who acted in the Zulu soapie, Zone 14.

“My latest movie Kwaito Church Service with Mjosty has received a lot of hype and has brought about change for us as MsiziM,” said Dladla.
