‘Racist letter’ offensive

2016-07-14 06:00

I AM an Afrikaans man who was educated in an English high school and university. I am also a professional in the medical field.

This is in reference to the racist letter by A. Khan (Why is Afrikaans so prominent, 23 June). I also speak all languages of the world except Latin and Greek. I take great offence to Khan’s racist remarks about Afrikaans. If he does not like the language, why does he take a departure back to the country his forefathers originated from?
