SOUTHERN KZN Primary Schools’ rugby teams received rugby jerseys from local businesses on Wednesday.

The handover to the U12 and U13 teams was held at Izotsha Primary School.

Manaba Kwik Spar donated 20 jerseys­ to the U12 team and Nic Cill Plumbing of Uvongo donated 25 jerseys for the U13 team.

KZN Primary Schools’ Rugby coach Tienie Viljoen said he is grateful to both sponsors.

The teams wore their new jerseys for a tournament at Glenwood Primary­ in Durban on 19 and 21 May.

“We are grateful to our sponsors Manaba Kwik Spar and Nic Cill Plumbing and hopefully the new
jerseys will bring the team good luck,” said Viljoen.
