FIVE local artists and the popular band, Braxton Hix, will team up on Friday, 2 September and Saturday, 3 September for a fund-raising art exhibition and music in aid of Ziphakamise, a welfare organisation.

With great artwork, music and food at one of the South Coast’s most beautiful venues, Umdlalo Lodge and Zizi’s Restaurant, the event promises to be spectacular.

The art exhibition promises to please even the toughest critics. The purpose of the event is to generate funds and make people aware of Ziphakamise’s inspiring work it does for the community.

All art work will be for sale so make sure you bring cash.

The exhibition opens at 3pm on Friday, 2 September and is free to the public. Braxton Hix will perform at 7pm at R50 per person.

Champagne breakfast and entry to the expo costs R75 per person for Saturday.

Come Dine with Dee, a catering company, will be present on both days, with oysters and champagne on the menu.

Local artists Anita Dumas, Petro Briggs, Lelane Bouwer, Melanie Wilkinson and Martijn Smeets will have their work on display.

For tickets for the expo and breakfast, contact Vicki on 039 695 0224 or email reservations@umdlalolodge. co.za
