PUPILS who have a passion for cycling are invited to take part in the Burry Stander South Coast Mountain Bike School Series.

There are eight legs in the series - the third one was held at the Burry Stander Park on Friday.

The fourth leg takes place on 20 May when Mandie Stander says she hopes to see more children take part.

“We started this series to continue Burry’s legacy and so these young cyclists have something to look forward to. I believe that’s how champions are made. We also want children to experience the same track Burry experienced as a young child.”

Families can also come along on weekends with bicycles and helmets. Those who don’t want to cycle can walk the track. For more details, contact Mandie on 079 493 7499.
