MOVEMBER has come to a close, but that doesn’t mean that men worldwide should stop paying attention to their health.

Mo Bros are supporting men’s health awareness by growing moustaches or by Mo Sistas getting involved in MOve challenges to get active.

Mo Sista, Heather Clark from Port Shepstone, a multiple Masters World Champion surfer hosted a Movember MOve morning recently, encouraging her students’ dads to get active by learning how to surf at St Mike’s beach recently.

Clark’s father Dave also joined in and hit the surf after a break of a few years. Both her parents were affected by cancer, so Movember is very personal for her.

Clark encouraged women to play a role in the health of their male loved ones.

“Give them support and positivity and encourage checkups, and never lose faith. To men I say keep smiling, a positive attitude has more power than any illness.”

The public can donate to Heather’s Movember fund-raising efforts by visiting http://mosista.co/13343626 - Supplied.
