TWENTY-FIVE people sustained mild to moderate injuries on Tuesday morning on a farm in Izotsha.

Eyewitnesses said the truck was off-loading workers for the day when the handbrake failed and the truck rolled back into a ditch injuring the workers. Some of the injured were on the truck, others behind it, when the incident occurred.

On arrival paramedics found patients lying all over the scene. Teamwork between all the services ensured that all were treated and transported to various hospitals.

The SAPS are investigating the cause of the accident. - Supplied.
