A CAR accident on Valentine’s Day on the R61 north of Munster­ left two dead and four seriously injured.

Kwazulu Private Ambulance paramedics and other emergency services arrived at the scene at about 12.30pm.

“The injured were stabilised on scene and transported to various hospitals,” said Kwazulu Private Ambulance spokesperson, Belinda Catchpole.

One vehicle came to a standstill in a field next to the road while the other stood crumpled in the middle of the road.
