UGU District Municipality released a statement about the water-shedding scheduled in Oslo Beach, Uvongo, Shelly Beach, Margate Extension three, Ramsgate North, Gamalakhe, Nyandezulu and Nositha due to the upgrading of the Boboyi Plant.

Ugu spokesperson France Zama said customers are therefore urged to take note of the water-shedding times - today, 6 and tomorrow, 7 September from 10pm to 4am and on 8 and 15 September from 6am to 5pm.

The municipality asks customers to store sufficient water during this period.

“Municipal relief water supply will also be on standby should the need arise,” said Zama.

Zama apologised for any inconvenience which may be caused due to interruptions. - Supplied.
