SPONSORED by the KZN Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, in association with Nkosi N Projects and Integrated Concepts and Light the Fire, over the weekend brought biking clubs and motor enthusiasts to Dezzi Raceway in Oslo Beach in celebration of all things biking.

However, bad weather resulted in the event not being well attended on the one day.

Sinethemba Dhlomo of Integrated Concepts organising committee said the weather was not on their side.

“Unfortunately, we can’t control the weather and the rainy conditions did prove somewhat challenging for performers and spectators on Saturday, but the high calibre of bikers and drivers meant that the stunts were more extreme.”

“On Sunday the vibe was incredible with families coming out to enjoy some of the amazing shows.”

South African biking legend, Alfred “King Donut” Matamela – owner of the Soweto Motorbike School and a Yamaha ambassador – entertained the crowds with his doughnut stunts while “biker queen” Seipei Mashugane met with fans and interviewed performers.
