THE 11-YEAR-OLD boy, who was hit by a car in Margate on Friday morning, is on the road to recovery.
Fourie Jordaan, on holiday from Gauteng with friends, was hit by a vehicle near Keg after it allegedly skipped a stop street. Witnesses at the scene said the vehicle was travelling north and steered away from another vehicle coming from the side and collided with Fourie. His leg was broken in two places and he also sustained a rib fracture.

His family, who had to make an emergency trip from Gauteng after the incident, thanked the work done by paramedics, Dr Babumba and the Margate Hospital staff. Fourie, a budding gymnast, will be out of action for the rest of the year while his leg mends. - Supplied.
