The KDMA’s (KwaDukuza Martial Arts) journey began when eight ladies and ten kids joined Humaira Khan at Stanger Library, where they met weekly to train. Humaira had completed her black belt in Taekwondo and had previously been teaching kids at the Montessori School. She then felt that it was time to start something of her own that is new and exciting, but she needed her own space. Three months later, Khan and her students began training in their new space, situated in a small shop in the bottom end of the Whitehouse Centre’s parking lot. Her club grew to such an extent, that by January 2016, Humaira opened her brand new gym space to accommodate the increasing demand for her classes

Core Nutrition began when KDMA opened its new doors in January this year, to support the nutritional and sport performance needs of the students as well as people who wish to take care of their health and fitness. Core Nutrition provides supplements, nutritional advice and personalised eating plans. We stock all your essential weight loss and muscle gain supplements to get you on your way to a happier and healthier lifestyle. We also have sports performance and endurance products for serious athletes such as runners, personal trainers and bodybuilders.

KDMA Kidz is the latest addition to the gym’s services, providing specialised support for early child movement development and teaches basic motor skills to lay down the early foundation for learning important skills later in life. These classes involve fun teamwork activities, games as well as one-on-one attention in small group classes.
