THE ANC Greater KwaDukuza Region led a peaceful anti-racism march through the streets of Ballito on Friday.

Minister of Arts and Culture, who is also a member of the ANC's National Executive Committee, Nathi Mthethwa, regional chairperson Ricardo Mthembu, members of the party's Provincial Executive Committee and party members and followers marched from La Montagne hotel until they reached the M4, Ballito Drive crossing.

Mthembu said it is a shame that all races did not participate in the anti-racism march.

He said the private sector is largely run and controlled by a minority race with the majority of the country’s populace – the previously disadvantaged – being unemployed and living in abject poverty.
