KwaDukuza Mayoral Cup kicks off successfully

THE KwaDukuza Mayoral Cup was launched last Tuesday and the opening games of the tournament were played at the weekend.

KwaDukuza Local Football Association competition co-ordinator Magnum Mngadi thanked the kind donation of R50 000 made by the office of the mayor to ensure the competition kicks-off.

“For the first time this year teams in the regional league will also be part of the mayoral cup which is a good thing. I would also like to thank Mr Cele and Nkosi Nzuza who are at the KwaDukuza Municipality, as an association, we are grateful for their support in ensuring the cup was launched successfully,” he said.

The final of the mayoral cup is scheduled for April 17.

Saturday, April 8
