Kwafel Darts Club wins Neelan's Auto League

KWAFEL Darts Club and Neelan's Auto Gledhow Darts Club locked horns for the league title sponsored by Neelan from Neelan's Auto.
Wednesday night saw the giants clash for the title race with Kwafel Darts team starting the game like a house on fire thus winning the team games (1001x2).
Kwafel team comprising Vinesh Geanbally, Jerry Govender, Nine Pillay, Devan Gounden, Meersing Singh, Jerry Arunachellum, Preolin Muthusamy and Ajen Singh were unstoppable once more winning the trebles game (801x2).
Moving onto the doubles game Vinesh and Jerry Govender outplayed Charlie Pillay and Rowen Pillay to lead 3-0.

Nine Pillay and Devan Gounden outclassed Justin Naidoo and Navern Coopsamy to win and keep Kwafel team closer to the title.
However Yogan Pillay and Jodie Naidoo regrouped and pulled 1 point beating Meersingh and Jerry Arunachellum to have some hope.
Kwafel leading with six points needed one point to secure the title, but the Gledhow team put up a strong fight to win 4 single games, Charlie, Rowen, Justin and Navern sent shock through the Kwafel team beating Geanbally, Govender, Pillay and Gounden.
The Kwafel team had to regroup and with 2 games to finish, Meersing and Jerry Arunachellum made no mistake in defeating Jodie and Yogan to lift the Neelan's Auto League title.
Gledhow had to settle for the runner up spot.
In the other game Sundowner Darts Club who suffered 2 defeats came up strong to beat the Darnall Young Boys 8-5.
The president of KwaDukuza Darts Association Mr Sharm Padayachee thanked Neelan from Neelan's Auto for his generous sponsorship.
