NEELAN’S Auto "B" Darts Club edged out Strini Motors Dart Club in round two of the Trophies Engravers League.
Neelan's team Yogan Pillay, Vasa Rungasamy, Kyle Pillay, Preyan Govender and Charlie Pillay (captain) beat Srini Motor Darts Club 5-4 in a close game.
Neelan's team won the first two opening matches team games (1001).

Strini Motors got their act together and won the last game to make the score line 2-1.
In the doubles game (701) Yogan and Vasa beat Meersingh Soobram and Asogan Luthsumanan in the first set to make the score line 3-1. Kumaren Naidoo and Ajen Singh beat Kyle and Charlie to make the score line 3-2 to give Strini Motors some hope of coming back into the game.
With 4 singles match left this was a game on for either club.
Yogan beat Meersingh in the first opening singles match to give Neelan's Auto a 4-2 lead.
Asogan and Kumaren beat Vasa and Kyle of Neelan's Auto to make level the score 4-4.
In the final set Puben of Strini's Motor was struggling to catch his tally's and poor scores left him flatfooted as Charlie swept past him to win the final set to give Neelan's Auto a 5-4 win.
In the other matches Sundowner Darts Club white washed Neelan's Auto "A" 9-0 and Darnall United beat Nevil's Auto 6-3. - Supplied.
