Campaign to eradicate the late registration of births

2015-04-30 15:19

The Cacadu District Home Affairs Forum in conjunction with officials from Uitenhage and the province will visit farms in the Sundays River Valley with the aim to encourage the identity document campaign.

“We want to conduct this campaign to eradicate the late registration of births and to make sure that youths get their identity documents,” said Charles Anthony from the YMCO non-profit organisation.

Mothers would be encouraged to register a new born child within 30 days of birth.

The delegations will visit the Sundays River Valley on 28th and 29th April.
