Police’s annual music festival held in Metro

The SAPS in the Eastern Cape will be hosting the annual Police Music and Cultural Association (Polmusca) Unity Festival and activities will kick off with a grand opening ceremony at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium today.

The Metro will welcome more than 1 000 police members from all over the country, who will be participating in competitions relating to choral music, ballroom dancing, traditional dancing, cultural exhibitions and cookery displays. The Province is at the same time excited to defend their title as the reigning Polmusca Choral, Traditional Dance and Ball Room Champions.

Attendance is free and members of the public are encouraged to attend the opening ceremony and the choral competition.

Scheduled activities include:

Choral competition, 18 September, 09:00 – 18:00, NMMU Missionvale Campus.

Choral competition andamp; Battle of Bands, 19 September, 09:00 - 18:00, NMMU Missionvale Campus
