A dominant property in Caledon Street, Uitenhage will be sold through a new and innovative real estate auction tool which is headed by two “Old Boys” from Muir College Boys’ High School.

Brad Dowlman and Vian Tee, both formerly from Uitenhage and Muir College, currently head-up the Eastern Cape division for In2Assets. It is a national real estate company which specialises in auctioning of commercial, industrial and agricultural properties.

“In2Assets has been around in the Port Elizabeth area for about the past 10 months, but has already been operating on national level for more than 3 years,” said Brad Dowlman, In2Assets Business Development Executive.

In2Assets is the licence holder of the real-time auction platform ClicktoPurchase, which grants national as well as international buyers a new way of buying real estate online.

“We have just listed the dominant property at 102 Caledon Street in Uitenhage. It is the premises from which ABSA Bank operated for decades.

“They are moving to occupy a smaller premises close-by,” said Dowlman.

According to Dowlman, online auctions certainly are the new way to buy and sell commercial property.

The Art Deco style property at 102 Caledon Street, in the heart of town, was initially build as the Uitenhage cinema.

It has been altered into versatile offices and showrooms and occupied by a national bank. and the premises offer great versatility for offices, retail space or showroom.

) The online auction of the Uitenhage property at Caledon 102 is on August 13th at 15:00 and offers buyers across the globe to chance to bid.
